Terms of Rental

1. When Do I Pay?

The rental fee will be processed to your credit or debit card prior to delivery. Secondary charges will be processed to the original method of payment if extra days are used, the weight limit is exceeded, the material in the dumpster exceeds the top of the wall edge, there are banned items or surcharge items loaded in the dumpster, or if other additional services apply or are selected. Please see below.

2. Calculating Extra Days

The standard dumpster rental term is 7 days. You must call in your return pickup by 10:00 a.m. on the eighth day. If not, you will be charged for extra days of rental time.

3. How High Can I Load the Dumpster?

Please load only to the top of the wall edge. If overloading occurs, additional charges will be assessed. If unsafe, the dumpster will be unloaded to a safe level.

4. Can I Move the Dumpster?

No. Any damage done will be the user’s responsibility. Call Dump Express. For a reasonable fee, we will move the dumpster.

5. Drop Site Disclaimer

Customer warrants that any access or location provided for contractor’s equipment is sufficient to bear the weight of all equipment and vehicles required to perform the service. Contractor shall not be responsible for damage to any private pavement or accompanying subsurface, or any route reasonably necessary to perform the services herein contracted. In addition, contractor shall not be responsible for damage to lawns, fences, or shrubbery.

Customer assumes all liabilities for damage to pavement or road surface, lawns, fences, and shrubbery.

Due to uncertain soil conditions and subsurface terrain, Dump Express cannot be held responsible for any damage to customer’s driveways, curbs, lawns, walks, wells, or septic systems. It is the customer’s responsibility to make Dump Express aware of any underground utilities that might be affected by taking delivery of the container.

6. Banned Items

Prohibited from the Dumpster

• Hazardous waste or liquid waste: Paint, gasoline, oil, solvents, chemicals, household cleaners, fire extinguishers, batteries, propane tanks or compressed-gas cylinders, fluorescent lights or tubes, and CFL bulbs.
• Hazardous materials or any type of toxic waste: Asbestos or asbestos-containing materials, mercury-containing items, or poisons.
• Other items: Sealed drums, oil tanks, ammunition, or explosives.
• Garbage or foodstuffs: No household garbage or foodstuffs.
• Masonry: Asphalt, concrete, block, brick, rubble, stone, or sand. These are accepted only in a separate, dedicated dumpster.
• Soil, loam, and dirt: Not accepted.
• Yard waste: Brush, trees, branches, leaves, grass, shrubs, clippings, mulch, or other organic materials. These are accepted only in a separate, dedicated dumpster.

If a dumpster contains banned items, it will be returned to the job site at the customer’s cost as indicated in the Additional Service Prices section. Banned items must be removed by the customer before the dumpster can be processed.

7. Surcharge Items
